The Meteorological Department has issued a forecast indicating the likelihood of rain accompanied by thunderstorms in Karachi from the night of April 17th through April 18th.
The forecast indicates a series of westerly winds entering Balochistan tonight, bringing rain to several districts in Sindh tomorrow. These districts include Jamshoro, Nowsherofroz, Dadu, Thatta, Sajawal, and Badin.
In Karachi, the forecast suggests the likelihood of light to moderate rainfall, with some areas experiencing heavy downpours during this period.
Additionally, the Meteorological Department predicts rain in Jacobabad, Kashmore, Sukkur, and Larkana on April 18th and 19th.
Meteorological analyst Jawad Memon has indicated that this weather system is more robust than the previous one, with a projected rainfall coverage of over 90 percent in Balochistan. Southern areas may experience heavy rainfall, and there is also a possibility of hailstorms in Balochistan starting from the evening of April 17th.
