Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Frontier Constabulary (FC North) is actively combating trafficking across several regions including Chitral, Dir, Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Orakzai, and Swat. Their efforts encompass intercepting a wide array of illicit goods ranging from drugs, currency, and foreign products.
Recent operations have yielded significant results, with authorities seizing various contraband such as food items, household appliances, clothing, tires, auto parts, and even modern arms. Additionally, they intercepted and disposed of 42 metric tons of prohibited items, including cigarettes, pan, betal nuts, and foreign medicines under proper supervision.
In a notable achievement, Frontier Corps North Khyber Pakhtunkhwa intercepted six kilograms of illegally smuggled gold from Afghanistan, along with a significant amount of foreign currency.
Furthermore, their anti-narcotics operations have resulted in authorities recovering 5100 kg of various illicit drugs, which have been handed over to relevant institutions for legal action.
These operations have led to the apprehension of 104 criminals, with legal proceedings initiated against them. Frontier Corps North Khyber Pakhtunkhwa continues to collaborate closely with other law enforcement agencies to effectively tackle smuggling activities.
