The Foreign Office has issued a statement expressing deep concern over the escalating tensions between Iran and Israel in the Middle East.

The Foreign Office highlighted Pakistan's assessment of the situation with grave concern, noting that on April 2, Islamabad had pointed to the results of an Israeli attack on the Iranian consulate in Syria as a major escalation in an already volatile region.
"It is now critically urgent to stabilize the situation and restore peace. We call on all parties to exercise utmost restraint and move towards de-escalation," the spokesperson reiterated.
Regarding the diplomatic efforts, the Foreign Office spokesperson expressed disappointment over the failure of the UN Security Council to establish international peace. "Today’s developments demonstrate the consequences of the breakdown of diplomacy," the spokesperson added.
