Pakistan Army recently conducted a rescue and relief operation in the remote region of Minimarg, where basic medical facilities are scarce. The valiant effort came to the aid of Asma Bano and Abdul Qadir, both facing dire medical emergencies.
Asma Bano, grappling with anemia, and Abdul Qadir, battling pancreatitis, found themselves in critical conditions due to the absence of adequate medical care in Minimarg. Sensing the urgency of the situation, the Pakistan Army swiftly intervened, deciding to airlift the patients to Skardu DHQ Hospital for urgent treatment.
With the roads proving unsafe, helicopters were deemed the safest mode of transportation for the delicate journey to the hospital. Throughout the transfer, the Pakistan Army's medical team provided crucial assistance, ensuring that both Asma Bano and Abdul Qadir received the care they desperately needed.
Following the successful evacuation, both patients are now receiving ongoing treatment at CMH Skardu, their conditions stabilized thanks to the timely intervention of the Pakistan Army. The residents of Minimarg and the families of the patients have expressed profound gratitude for the Army's compassionate initiative, underscoring the crucial role it plays in supporting communities during times of crisis.
