A meeting of the senior leaders of the PML-N in London has reportedly taken some important decisions. It has been decided to form a committee of the party to work on its narrative and manifesto.
The party has also decided to focus on economic goals instead of any other matter.
In this regard, party supremo Nawaz Sharif has sought suggestions from all members of the PML-N’s central executive committee. The members have been asked to submit their suggestions in writing to Nawaz Sharif within seven days.
Nawaz Sharif will reportedly look after all the matters directly himself, including concerned of party leaders.

PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif was quoted to have said that no senior member will have any objection to the leadership of party supremo Nawaz Sharif.
He further stressed that Nawaz is the PML-N's consensus candidate for the prime minister’s slot.
During the meeting, senior leaders suggested that on the arrival of Nawaz Sharif, the narrative of economic relief to the people should be adopted.
Instead of focusing here and there, the PML-N should focus only on economic goals, party supremo Nawaz Sharif stressed.
On Friday, the PML-N supremo said former army chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa, former ISI director general Gen Faiz Hameed, and former chief justices of Pakistan Saqib Nisar and Asif Saeed Khosa should be brought to justice.

Senior PML-N leaders are currently in London to hold meetings with Nawaz Sharif and former prime minister Shehbaz Sharif. Prominent among those who attended the meeting were PML-N chief organiser Maryam Nawaz and former finance minister Ishaq Dar.
On the occasion, Nawaz Sharif rued, “The country that was leading towards prosperity was harmed through a plot in 2017. Those who were part of the conspiracy against the country should be brought to justice.”
Separately, Maryam Nawaz said there were no alterations to her father and former prime minister's return plans.
Speaking to Samaa TV exclusively in London, Ms Nawaz said: “The preparations to welcome Nawaz Sharif to the country are going on with great verve. We will give a great response to those who are doing propaganda regarding Nawaz Sharif’s return.”
