Hollywood power couple Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck recently purchased a lavish mansion in Los Angeles that was previously owned by Isha Ambani, the daughter of Indian business mogul Mukesh Ambani.
This real estate move has drawn a lot of attention. The mansion, which is located in the posh Beverly Hills neighbourhood, is said to have been sold to Lopez and Affleck for an astounding $61 million (roughly INR 494 crores).
With an impressive array of amenities, the expansive property, which covers 5.2 acres, has 12 bedrooms, 24 bathrooms, a gym, salon, spas, and a 155-foot infinity pool. It also features an indoor pickleball court. It is a veritable luxury haven with a kitchen, lush lawns, and an outdoor entertainment pavilion.
When the deal collapsed in June of last year, Jennifer and Ben purportedly paid over $61 million, or ₹500 crore, for the house. In 2022, Ben had sold his house in Pacific Palisades for $28.5 million. Jennifer sold her Bel-Air property for $34 million in October of last year.
In 2022, Isha Ambani and her mother, Nita Ambani, shared many special moments at this mansion during a large portion of Isha's pregnancy. After five years of being on and off the market, Lopez and Affleck eventually bought the property with cash.
The purchase of this home expands the Hollywood couple's impressive collection of possessions. Their fans affectionately refer to them as "Bennifer." This mansion will now be the home of their family, which also includes twins Max and Emme from Lopez's previous marriage to Marc Anthony and the children Violet Anne, Seraphina Rose, and Samuel from Affleck's marriage to Jennifer Garner.
The Ambani family, known for their grandeur and elegance, is no stranger to high-profile real estate deals. In 2018, Anand Piramal's parents, Ajay and Dr. Swati Piramal, gave Anand and his wife, Isha Ambani, a Mumbai home, known as "Gulita", as a wedding present.
The Ambanis have remained well-known in social and business circles despite their varied endeavours.
