One of the most highly-anticipated weddings in the entertainment industry is set to take place on Sunday, September 24, as Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra and political party leader Raghav Chadha prepare to tie the knot.
The couple has already flown to Udaipur for their grand wedding, with guests spotted at the Udaipur airport en route to the festivities.
However, according to a recent report, Priyanka Chopra, Parineeti's sister and a global icon, is unlikely to attend this extravagant affair.
Priyanka Chopra will reportedly be absent from her cousin Parineeti Chopra's wedding due to prior commitments. While Priyanka did attend Parineeti and Raghav Chadha's engagement ceremony in Delhi during her last visit to India, her busy schedule may keep her from participating in the upcoming wedding.
The engagement took place on May 13.
In terms of pre-wedding celebrations, a Sufi night was held at the groom's residence in Delhi on September 20, attended by numerous Bollywood celebrities.
Today, on September 22, the bride-to-be, Parineeti, is expected to have her mehendi ceremony.
Security arrangements for the grand wedding include 100 private security guards, with additional security personnel deployed in boats in Lake Pichola, where some of the celebrations are set to take place.
Parineeti has chosen designer Manish Malhotra for her wedding attire, a decision influenced by their longstanding friendship.
Raghav Chadha, on the other hand, will be attired in designs by his uncle and fashion designer, Pawan Sachdeva, throughout the wedding festivities.
