A moderate earthquake struck parts of Pakistan on Saturday, spreading tremors across various regions including Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
The tremors were felt in various areas including Ath Makam, Kundal Shahi, Kuttan, Jora, and Barrian, sending shockwaves across the landscape.
Reports indicated that the quake also affected Keran, Upper Neelum, Nagdar, Lawat Bala, Sharda, and Kel, further spreading the sensation of unease among locals.
Despite the intensity of the earthquake, there have been no reports of casualties or damage to property from any part of the capital or its neighboring regions.
In the aftermath of the earthquake, people came out of their homes in panic and started reciting verses from the Holy Quran.
Local authorities are currently assessing the situation and have urged residents to remain calm and follow safety precautions in case of aftershocks.
