The two-week ban on meeting with VIP and regular prisoners at Adiala Jail, including PTI Founder Imran Khan, has been lifted.
As the ban was lifted, MNAs Malik Amir Dogar, Ali Muhammad Khan, and Latif Khosa went inside the jail to meet Imran Khan.

According to the Adiala Jail SP, the ban on meetings in the jail has ended from Thursday. The purpose of the ban was to ensure the safety of more than 7,000 prisoners, including Imran Khan. Relatives of all prisoners will be able to meet the inmates as per normal rules.
Due to security concerns, the Punjab government had banned meetings with prisoners in Adiala Jail on March 12.

Two weeks ago in a joint operation of Rawalpindi Police and Counterterrorism Department (CTD), the security forces saved Adiala jail from major tragedy as three terrorists were arrested with heavy weapons and ammunition.
The Rawalpindi capital police officer (CPO) had in a late night statement said three terrorists hailing from Afghanistan now shifted to a ‘safe place’ for interrogation.
