A youth social worker named Adnan in Peshawar took a bold step in the era of inflation and serve free kitchens for poor and needy people in the holy month of Ramazan.
A hundreds of people break their fast every day. Adnan told SAMAA TV, “I started welfare work in 2018. In the beginning, social workers used to distribute goods to the poor on the roadside. We have vowed to do for others what we like ourselves.”
“I have been operating this free kitchen where all kinds of expensive dishes including cooked lamb meat are prepared,” he said.
“I don't break my fast at home for six years, I break my fast outside on the street and with poor people,” Adnan said.
