Amidst swirling rumors of impending nuptials, Bollywood sensation Taapsee Pannu recently sat down for an exclusive interview, setting the record straight on her relationship status and marriage plans.
Speculation has been rife that the "Dunki" star and her beau, badminton coach Mathias Boe, are gearing up for a March-end wedding after a decade-long courtship.
In a candid conversation on Zoom, Taapsee coyly addressed the buzz surrounding her alleged intimate ceremony, asserting her right to announce such a milestone in her own time and fashion.
"I want to get married one day, and whenever I do, you will get to know about it... if I find the right place and moment for it, I will myself talk about it," she remarked, alluding to the persistent probing into her personal life.
Brushing off the incessant speculation, Pannu questioned the necessity of such intrusive inquiries, emphasizing the normalcy of marriage in one's life. "Am I doing something wrong? Marriage is a part of our life, it is accepted by everyone. It is not like I am cheating on anyone. It's not like I'm doing something illegal. So why all this (speculation)?" she candidly questioned.
Setting the record straight on her relationship status, Pannu affirmed her commitment to transparency, stating, "I am single, and people don't expect me to get married or what? I have been very honest about my relationship; it is not like I have hidden it. So, whenever it (wedding) happens, you will know."
These remarks come hot on the heels of reports suggesting an imminent union between the talented actress and her long-time beau.
According to sources cited by NDTV, the couple is set to exchange vows in a grand celebration at the end of March, blending the rich traditions of Sikhism and Christianity in a mesmerizing display of love and culture.
The wedding is purportedly slated to take place in the enchanting locale of Udaipur, promising a family-centric affair devoid of Bollywood glitterati.
