On the occasion of Pakistan Day, an inspiring All-Pakistan speech competition titled "March 23, 1940 and Today's Pakistan" was held, where students showcased their oratory skills. The event, organized by Suno FM Radio Network, aimed to educate youth about the importance of the Pakistan Resolution.
The competition, held at the Army Public School DHA Campus, attracted participants from across the nation. Renowned writer and poet Mr. Iftikhar Arif graced the closing ceremony as the chief guest, captivating the audience with his poetry.
The young speakers captivated the audience with their eloquence, highlighting the historical significance of March 23, 1940, and its relevance to modern-day Pakistan.
Haider Abbas from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa secured the first position, followed by Muhammad Abdullah Nawaz from Lahore in second place, and Meshaal Abrar Abbasi from Azad Jammu and Kashmir in third.
Cash prizes were awarded to the winners, with the first position receiving Rs5 lakh, the second position Rs3 lakh, and the third position Rs2 lakh. Additionally, participants were recognized for their efforts, with prizes of Rs50,000 awarded to other speakers. The event concluded with a celebration of talent and patriotism, echoing the spirit of unity and pride on Pakistan Day.
