Meanwhile, "Poor Things" made its mark, scooping up four Oscars, including Best Actress, Best Makeup and Hairstyling, Best Production Design, and Best Costume Design.
Jimmy Kimmel took the reins as the evening's host, guiding the proceedings with his trademark humour, often poking fun at past Oscar mishaps, such as the infamous mix-up during the announcement of "La La Land" as Best Picture.

The Best Actress category saw Emma Stone triumph for her role in "Poor Things", marking her second win in this prestigious category.
Despite Greta Gerwig's absence from the directing category, her film "Barbie" secured a win for Best Original Song with the enchanting melody "What Was I Made For?" by Billie Eilish and Finneas O'Connell, adding another feather to the cap of an already unforgettable evening in Hollywood's glittering calendar.
