Quetta Gladiators opener Jason Roy pulled out of the forthcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) due to the personal reasons.
According to media reports, Roy had to represent the Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL. The Knight Riders had inducted Phil Salt as the replacement for Roy.
The IPL is slated to start on March 22.
Roy had racked up 231 runs in his seven outings in the ongoing edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
He had represented England in five Tests, 116 ODIs, and 64 T20Is.
