Multan Sultans batter Usman Khan said on Saturday that he wants to represent the United Arab Emirates (UAE) national cricket team.
Speaking to the media, Khan said: “I am not having any regrets for notching up the century against the Lahore Qalandars. However, it is a matter of immense delight that the team has emerged victorious.”
He recalled his century in the eighth edition of the PSL, saying, “I had compiled a century in the last season of the PSL.”
Khan made it clear that he was playing in the PSL as an overseas player. “It's been four years that I have been playing cricket in the UAE,” he added.
Expressing his thoughts about the match against Karachi Kings, Khan stated: “We will put in all-out efforts to secure victory against Karachi Kings in Karachi.”
“I have played cricket in Karachi for the whole of my life. Usually the ball swings more in Karachi in the early overs,” Khan said.
He maintained: “I always try to give my best against every opponent.”
Khan acknowledged Mohammad Rizwan’s captaincy, saying, “I have always tried to learn from Mohammad Rizwan.”
