He said: “Those who play the leagues and international cricketers are similar players.”
Shedding light on his international career, Azam said: “I could not take full advantage of the opportunities I got in the international circuit. But I will put in all-out efforts if given the opportunity in international cricket.”
Azam lavished his praise on United pacer Naseem Shah, saying, “Naseem Shah is one of the biggest stars of Pakistan. Hopefully, Naseem Shah will have a lengthy career with the United.”
Speaking about the team’s dressing room, Azam said: “There are no differences between the seniors and fringe players in our team.”
He said: “I used to have contact with my father [Moin Khan], but he is engaged with the different teams.”
Rallying behind Ubaid Shah and Hunain Shah, Azam said: “Both Ubaid Shah and Hunain are terrific players, who will hopefully represent Pakistan in the future.”
