The Utility Stores Corporation has slashed the prices of over 800 items by 10%, with the new prices effective immediately.
According to a statement from the spokesperson of the Utility Stores Corporation, the prices of different brands of ghee, cooking oil, tea, washing powder, noodles, ketchup, Tetra Pak milk, dry milk, spices, pickles, soap, toothpaste and other items have been reduced between Rs8 and Rs200.
The spokesman said that the Benazir Income Support Program subsidy on Utility Stores is currently suspended, which will be restored very soon under a new procedure. He further said the management of Utility Stores Corporation has started working on a new strategy to provide the best services to customers in order to regain their trust.
