Pakistan T20I captain Salman Ali Agha hoped on Thursday that the new-look team would deliver for the country in the forthcoming tri-nation series and Asia Cup 2025.
According to details, addressing a presser ahead of the trilateral series slated to begin tomorrow with the Afghanistan game, Agha said, "The trilateral series will be vital for preparations ahead of the Asia Cup. Being a captain is an honour but also a great responsibility at the same time."
Agha has underscored the country's "brilliant" record at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium in the past. "I have a good team; we have played good cricket in the last three series. The new team is being formed, and you will see the players delivering for the country," he maintained.
He acknowledged the importance of the trilateral series, saying, "When I was a kid, many trilateral series used to happen. I believe that tournaments like these should happen every now and then."
