On Monday - February 03 - the Saudi Riyal (SAR) remained unchanged in Pakistan's open market, with its buying rate staying at Rs74.36. The selling rate also saw no change, remaining at Rs74.57.
Saudi Arabia continued to be Pakistan’s top contributor to foreign remittances in December 2024. Overseas Pakistanis residing in the kingdom sent the largest remittance of $770.6 million during the month.
This figure was up 6% from the previous month and a significant 33% higher than the $577.6 million remitted by expatriates in the same month of the previous year.
