Following the massive success of Season 1, which dominated Netflix’s Global Top 10 for eight weeks and amassed nearly 40 million views in just two weeks, anticipation is at an all-time high.
The upcoming season will delve deeper into Monkey D. Luffy’s adventures, particularly focusing on the Baroque Works arc. This storyline introduces formidable foes and expands the world of the Straw Hat Pirates, adding drama, action, and intrigue to the already gripping narrative.
According to Deadline, Season 2 will introduce Sophia Anne Caruso as Miss Goldenweek, Mark Penwill as Chess, and Anton David Jeftha as K.M. They join previously announced cast members, including Charithra Chandran as Miss Wednesday, Joe Manganiello as Mr. 0, and Katey Sagal as Dr. Kureha. The sequel of the iconic live-action series is expected to be aired in the second half of 2025.
