The protests, organized under the pretext of security concerns, led to major expenditures by the Islamabad Police.
Over 800 containers were deployed to block key areas, costing Rs72.8 million.
The police procured 35,000 tear gas shells, utilizing many during the protests amounted to an expense of Rs150 million.
2,500 rubber bullet guns and ammunition were used costing an additional Rs110 million.
The total expenditure of Rs332.8 million highlights the strain placed on the national exchequer during such large-scale protests.
