The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) denied the rumors regarding the shutdown of ATM machines.
“Do not click on suspicious online links and do not share personal information,” the central bank in a statement issued on Monday.
“Users log out immediately after using an online banking session. Bank customers should review their account statements regularly,” SBP said.

Customers can use ATMs and online banking services as usual. The State Bank is actively working with all banks and OneLink to ensure the security of the financial infrastructure and the digital payment system. IT and security guidelines are being fully followed.
Customers are advised to be cautious when banking at ATMs, branches, or online. Report any suspicious activity immediately. Do not share your payment card, personal or financial information, passport details, etc., with anyone. Avoid clicking on suspicious online links or sharing personal information. Always log out immediately after using an online banking session. Bank customers should regularly review their account statements.
