Pakistan’s national hero Arshad Nadeem has made all Pakistanis proud by winning a gold medal with a remarkable record javelin throw in the ongoing Paris Olympics.
The deputy commissioner (DC) of Khanewal, Arshad’s hometown, says the son of the soil will be accorded a grand welcome by the district administration upon his return. “This is a great achievement of Arshad Nadeem. He has made Pakistan proud in Paris,” the DC said.
On the other hand, celebrations continue at the residence of Olympian Arshad Nadeem. His former coach, Rasheed Ahmed Saqi, says Mian Channu is a very fertile area. There is a lot of talent in Mian Channu and if the younger generation focuses on other sports than cricket, they can make the country prouder.

“Arshad Nadeem has made the nation proud,” he remarked.
Meanwhile, Faisalabad also celebrated the historic achievement with a cake-cutting ceremony at the Faisalabad Development Authority office. They also announced an honorary membership of the FDA Sports Complex for Arshad Nadeem.
Moreover, after creating history and winning the gold medal in the Paris Olympics 2024, Arshad Nadeem will take his homecoming flight to Pakistan from Paris on Saturday (tomorrow) at 10am Pakistan Standard Time (PST).

Arshad will reach Pakistan via Dubai at 1pm (August 11). The provincial sports minister and officials of the Pakistan Sports Board will welcome Arshad Nadeem at Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore.
Sources claimed Arshad Nadeem will be taking a round of Lahore city on the day after August 11 on a double-decker bus after being received from Lahore airport.
