RAWALPINDI: Workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) clashed overnight in the city and pelted each others with stones, injuring five of them, SAMAA reported Saturday.
According to details, the activists from the two parties started gathering at the election offices of their respective political party on Six Road in the remit of Sadiqabad Police Station and burst into full-throttled slogans.
According to police sources, the workers of the two parties exchanged hot words and before long came to blows, resulting in injuries to five people.
Receiving the report, police arrived on the spot and brought the flashpoint under control. It should be mentioned here that the workers have been throwing stones to their rivals for three days now. –SAMAA
