KARACHI: After two new patients’ confirmation of dengue virus today now toll of dengue patients has mounted to 163 in Karachi, SAMAA reported on Thursday.

According to a report issued by Sindh Dengue Surveillance Cell (SDSC), two more patients have been tested positive of dengue virus in Karachi this day and they are kept in the isolation ward of a private hospital for treatment.

Despite ongoing dengue preventive spray campaign in the city, number of dengue patients is mounting constantly; after today’s two more patients’ addition now toll of dengue patients has increased to 163 in the metropolis during this year, added the SDSC.

The medical experts have suggested the people in the city to adopt dengue preventive measures for safety. SAMAA
