Patients suffer as doctors continue strike in Balochistan

Staff Report

QUETTA: The strike of Balochistan’s doctors is being observed in government hospitals of the province on the 27th consecutive day on Tuesday.

The doctors are observing strike on the call of Pakistan Medical Association (PMA), Balochistan chapter against the kidnapping doctors and for other demands.

On the other hand, patients across the province suffer from absence of the doctors in the OPD and operation theaters of hospitals.

The strike is still being observed even after the kidnapped doctor is released. On the other hand, the chief minister of the province has also asked the protesting doctors to end the strike.

The protesting doctors demanded security and immediate action against kidnappers and killers of the doctors. SAMAA
