ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf on Sunday accorded his approval to a new policy for transfer of officials in Balochistan.

According to the new policy, government officials with Balochistan’s domiciles would be posted in Balochistan after serving for a period of three years outside their province.

In addition, those officials, who did not complete their three-year term in Balochistan, would also be transferred back to the province.

The new policy would be applicable on DMG, PAS and PSP officers.

The prime minister hoped that the new policy would help restore the law and order situation in Balochistan. SAMAA
