DERA GHAZI KHAN: A man tortured his wife after she asked him not to talk with other women on mobile phone, SAMAA reports on Saturday.
According to police, Shahzad Ahmed, resident of Block 28 of the city, tortured his wife Aasia as she asked him not to talk with other women on mobile phone.
The couple got married just two weeks ago.
The man fled the scene soon after torturing his wife.
The woman was taken to district hospital in an injured condition.
Family of the woman appealed to the Punjab Chief Minister for security. SAMAA
