KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain telephoned President Asif Ali Zardari and expressed his concerns over Karachi’s unrest, SAMAA reported on Friday.
Hussain also expressed his concern over extortion incidents in the city. The president told him that his government was taking serious notice of the incidents and taking action against the extortionists.
Both leaders also discussed local body election issue as well.
Hussain also inquired about Speaker National Assembly Fahmida Mirza’s health on telephone and prayed for her well being. SAMAA
