LAHORE: President Asif Ali Zardari is taking revenge from public with acute power load shedding in Punjab, said Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif in Lahore today, SAMAA reported on Tuesday.
A large number of people staged protest against long unending power cuts in the city and many prominent leaders of the PML-N with Punjab CM Sahahbaz Sharif also joined them.
Shahbaz Sharif said in his address during the protest that this vindictive act, of long unending power load shedding, against Punjab will cost President Asif Ali Zardari a lot.
Sindh industries are running six days a week while Punjab industries are running three-day a week; President Zardari is taking revenge from public with heightened power cuts in Punjab, he added.
“I am being blamed of fueling provincialism but those who blame me, they must remember Punjab’s sacrifice in the NFC Award,” the Punjab CM added, saying he will free the country from the clutches of corrupt gang while Pakistan will get rid of this power crisis under leadership of Nawaz Sharif. SAMAA
