LAHORE: Captain Safdar, the son-in-law of Pakistan Muslim League-N chief, Mian Nawaz Sharif, was suspended from primary membership of the PML-N over his tirade against party men, SAMAA reports.
Secretary General of the party, Zafar Iqbal Jhagra said the action was taken on the directives of party chief Nawaz Sharif.
Safdar had uttered some ‘indecent’ remarks against party leaders – Mehtab Abbasi and Pir Sabir Shah – few days back, sources said.
In a show-cause notice issued to Captain Safdar, his statements were cited as reasons behind grouping in the party. -- SAMAA
