LAHORE: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan says he was shocked to hear the names being considered for the interim government.
Interacting with reporters here on Sunday, PTI leader Khan said the interim government should comprise of people like Fakhruddin G. Ibrahim, who was appointed as the new Chief Election Commissioner (CEC).
“Although the new CEC is an honest person, he may quit the job due to the group of thugs,” he feared.
He expressed his reservations about the names appearing in media reports for the interim set up.
“The Contempt of Court Bill is a new NRO, which has been brought to safeguard thieves,” Khan added.
The PTI leader said there is no military solution of the Balochistan issue. He announced he would lead a caravan of international observers to Waziristan in September. SAMAA
