It is pertinent to note here that present government led by Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), in an apparent move to stanch the course of disqualification of the Prime Minister by the court, rushed through passage of the Contempt of Court Bill amendment 2012 from both the houses. And later on, President Asif Ali Zardari signed the bill into law on Thursday (July 12). SAMAA
