QUETTA: Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf Friday said his government wants to grapple with the issues through negotiations, not with force and coercion.

Addressing the cabinet of Balochistan here for the first time after reaching here today, he said it is a handful of people who want to peddle hatred; but, they will soon be exposed.

“We will ensure law and order in the province; but, use of force cannot resolve the problems. The government believes in dialogues,” Prime Minister Raja asserted.

Inviting the resenting Baloch leaders to partake in negotiations, the PM Pervez noted he will press ahead for the construction and progress of Balochistan.

Expressing grief over the plight of Baloch people and tendering apology to them for the same, he said the federal government will extend every possible succor to the provincial government for the restoration of law and order in the province, adding, “We are geared up to render every sacrifice for the well-being of our people.” SAMAA
