Fresh rain spell likely from Friday

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast chances of another spell of moderate to heavy rains in the upper parts of the country from Friday.

A monsoon low lies over central parts of India and its adjoining areas and extends up to mid-tropospheric level. Under its influence monsoon currents are penetrating into north eastern parts of the country.

Seasonal low lies over North West Balochistan with its trough extending southeast ward. Intermittent thundershower is expected at isolated of places Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad and Bahawalpur divisions on Thursday. -- AGENCIES
