QUETTA: Balochistan government Tuesday told the Supreme Court (SC) during the hearing of missing persons case that at least 101 people were targeted killed in the month of June.

Heading a three-member bench of the Supreme Court (SC) at Quetta Registry hearing a case of law and order situation in Balochistan and missing persons, Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Muhammed Chaudhry wondered how the crimes against common man can be traced out, if murderer of Chief Minister’s nephew cannot be tracked down.

Advocate General of Balochistan Amanullah Kanrani submitted before the court the people who became victims of target killings during June, include 15 police and 86 citizens.

Justice Khilji Arif Hussain said everybody’s killer vanishes after committing the crime in Balochistan. SAMAA
