PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government has formed a committee of religious scholars to mull over starting Ramadan on same date with rest of the country.
The Provincial government of KP has formed a four-member committee of religious scholars for consent over Ramadan moon.
This commit comprises representatives of KP government committee with local private moon sighting committees of Peshawar, Charsadda and Mardan.
This newly formed committee will reach on consensus first, over sighting of upcoming Ramadan moon, and after that would make announcement unanimously.
The provincial religious scholars are not happy over attitude of Central Ruat-e-Hilal Committee, regarding taking witnesses of Khyber Pakhtukhwa, over Ramadan moon sighting, into consideration. SAMAA
