Contempt of Court Bill passed amid PML-N protest

ISLAMABAD: The Contempt of Court Bill 2012 was passed by the Lower House late Monday night amid protest by the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz-led opposition, SAMAA reports.

The PML-N lawmakers rose from their seats and chanted slogans against the government when the lower house session begun. SAMAA

It is a black day in the history of Pakistan that the parties who considered themselves to be pro democratic are marching towards destruction by attempting to put a bar on free judiciary. ANP has fully lost its identity as being a party of principles. It is now being dictated by a corrupt leadership. I hate ANP especially Haji Adeel
