ISLAMABAD: National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Law and Justice has postponed Mutahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) bill regarding formation of new provinces in the country.
Naseem Akhtar Chauhdry, Chairperson of the committee, said this day that Raza Rabbani’s reply regarding the MQM’s bill, over creation of new provinces, has not been received yet.
On the demand of the members, the committee decided of getting information about the development over copy of the reference, sent to the Speaker by the President.
Zafar Ali Shah, MNA of the PPP, opposed formation of Hazara Province and presented his objection note, over the MQM bill, in the committee. SAMAA
