All Pakistan Oil Tankers Association not ready to resume NATO supply

KARACHI: The All Pakistan Oil tankers Association (APOTA) has refused to resume NATO supply until drivers and cleaners are not rendered insurance cover, SAMAA reported on Wednesday.

Meer Yousaf Shahwani, Chairman of APOTA, said in a statement this day that the oil and vehicles used for NATO troops’ supply used to insured but the drivers and cleaners, working on NATO supply vehicles, are denied insurance cover.

“The police and FC must provide security to oil tankers; those drivers who had lost their lives and sustained critical injuries in attacks on NATO supply should be given compensation, demanded the Chairman of APOTA. SAMAA
