PM Raja Parvez starts consultation over SC instructions on NRO case

Staff Report

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Raja Parvez Ashraf has started consultation over Supreme Court’s instructions on NRO case, SAMAA reported on Wednesday.

Federal Law Minister Farooq H Naek called on PM Raja Parvez in the PM House this evening and briefed him about the Supreme Court’s orders over the NRO case. During meeting they exchanged views over the issue.

According to the legal experts, the government will have to submit its reply on the next hearing; the Attorney General will inform the court about Prime Minister’s reply on July 12, scheduled by the court for next hearing of the case.

Former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has been not only deprived of his office and membership of the National Assembly, he has also turned illegible for next five years in the NRO case.

It is feared that the newly appointed PM Raja Parvez can face the same situation, if refuses to write letter to Swiss courts, in this case. SAMAA
