LAHORE: Former Olympians have set up a protest camp in Lahore against Pakistan High Federation (PHF) in the wake of team’s dismal performance in Azlan Shah Hockey Cup.
Pakistan finished last in the seven-nation tournament, played in Malaysia.
The camp was set up outside the National Hockey Stadium.
Former Olympians Naveed Alam, Muhammad Saqlain, Salim Nazim, Mansoor Ahmed and several others joined the camp and staged a sit-in.
They alleged that the federation has been turned into a political arena.
The former players called for removal of the current PHF team and demanded of Prime Minister to take action. SAMAA
