LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is going to award central contracts for 42 Pakistan team players on Saturday (today), with increased pay and match fees, SAMAA reports.
PCB chairman Zaka Asharaf announced it while addressing a ceremony held for the Asia Cup winners here at Expo Centre.
He said 25 percent pay rise in central contract and 10 percent hike in match fees had been approved for 42 players divided in three categories - A, B and C.
Under the contract, sources said, players in A category could get Rs3,13,000 per month, B category Rs2,18,000 while players in C category could get Rs1,25,000 per month. -- SAMAA
