Quetta mourns on 2nd day of Eid after yesterday’s huge blast

QUETTA: The entire city Thursday wears mourning look after a ravaging bomb blast that rocked the city yesterday leaving 13 including four women dead and injuring 21 others.

Jafaria Alliance, Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen and Balochistan Shia Conference announced seven days of mourning.

The days of celebrations and festivities have been dampened by the powerful blast near Hazara Eidhgah on Alamdar Road, which destroyed among others five houses and 15 vehicles as well.

Several injured are in critical state giving rise to fear of death toll to rise. It should be mentioned here that hospital lacks facilities; accordingly, several injured people had to offer Zuhr prayers at floor.

According to Bomb Disposal Squad, at laest 40-kg explosives were used in the blast. SAMAA
