People stage protest against builder mafia in Latifabad

LATIFABAD: The local people of Latifabad have staged stern protest against land builder mafia while police have failed few protesters’ attempt of self immolation here on Wednesday.

After completion of 90 days’ protest, the Hyderabad Action Committee (HAC) staged a protest rally against the local land builder mafia today.

The HAC leaders Ashraf Nonari and Ramzan Brohi attempted self immolation during protest but police started baton charge to stop them; after stern baton charge police arrested 14 HAC leaders from the protest site.

The protestors said on the occasion that the government did not give any heed to their protest and as a final desperate move they staged this protest for highlighting their issue. SAMAA
