Abdullah Farhatullah
Abdullah Farhatullah has a Master’s degree in Philosophy and has also studied engineering and religion, formally. He has been associated with electronic media since 2008. He’s worked with many news channels as a host and writer.
He joined Samaa TV in 2011. He actively runs a theatre company by the name of Hazaar Dastaan. He is also a part of an under-ground band called AAZAAD, as a singer and song writer. Abdullah Farhatullah hosts the show “Aisa Bhi Hota Hai” which focuses on social issues prevailing in the society, aired every Tuesday at 23:05.
Abida Hamid
Abida Hamid has been associated with the print, electronic media and advertising agencies for many years. She has worked as a journalist for a national English daily. She has also worked as a content producer and anchor for different current affairs shows and live transmissions and worked as a Creative Director for some leading ad agencies.
She has special interest in social issues, women rights, legal jurisprudence and research based projects. Watch her every Monday at 23:05 on Samaa TV fighting for justice only on Court Number 5.
Ali Mumtaz
Born and raised in Gujranwala, Ali Mumtaz belongs to a non media family background. He initiated his career in 2000 with radio and never looked back. Hosted various shows on Pakistani channel in the United Kingdom and later joined Pakistan Television News as a current affairs anchor. Private media was always a challenge as it was all about working in the toughest of conditions with limited resources. Though there have been plenty of testing times in the field he stood up along with his team to achieve the desired results with many special coverage of flood, bomb blasts and violent protests.
Currently Ali Mumtaz can be seen hosting Hum Log a show that focuses on issues related to a common man aired every Friday and Saturday at 20:03. Through "Hum Log" he believes he has an opportunity to feel the heart beat of a common Pakistani that is often talked about but seldom he is made to feel that he is important.
Beena Khan
Beena Khan started her journalistic career with an English morning daily, working and writing for different departments. She wrote on political economy, women’s issues, international issues before moving on to head the international desk. She then shifted her attention towards the electronic media, as a News Presenter and Reporter, she always had a flair for stories, and especially crime related stories. She has been part of the launching team of SAMAA, as a News Presenter and Anchor, and then she moved into production. She produces and hosts SAMAA’s longest running and pioneer in Crime Shows - Crime Scene.
Beena is an avid reader and always wants to learn new things and techniques and as a result she among her other many talents is a certified International Trainer of Trainers in communication skills, corporate communications, strategy planning. She got her certification from Germany. "Crime Scene" can be seen on Monday - Thursday at 05:05 PM.
Gharidah Farooqi
Born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and a Kashmiri by origin; Gharidah is distinctive and versatile not only in personality but in her profession, too. She did her Masters in International Relations and started her journalistic career in 2005. She has worked with numerous news channels and is currently serving Samaa as Program and News Anchor. Gharidah has also worked with ISPR for some time as Media Analyst.
Gharidah hosts the show "60 Minute" Monday-Tuesday at 07.05pm - 08.00pm on Samaa TV which focuses on quick & realistic solution of problems in Pakistan and elsewhere.

Jasmeen Manzoor
Born in Karachi, Jasmeen Manzoor did her Masters in International Relations. She’s been working as a producer and television anchor since 1999. In March 2010, Jasmeen started hosting SAMAA TV's flagship prime time program called 'Tonight with Jasmeen'.
This program is aired Monday to Thursday from 10:03pm-11:00pm.
Jasmeen has also made documentaries on various subjects and has received four awards for her outstanding work, one of which was the Benazir Excellence Award for Best Female Anchor in Pakistan in 2009.
Mehwish Siddique
Born in Karachi, Mehwish Siddique started her career as a theatre artist. She has a degree in acting from the National Academy of Performing Arts and she has a bachelors degree in Psychology. She started her career in 2008 as a TV actress. Her acnhoring career started in January 2001. Her interests include reading and acting.
Mehwish Siddique will be anchoring “Awam ki Awaz” which will be aired every Friday at 10.03pm - 11.00pm
Paras Khurshid
Born in Hyderabad, Paras Khurshid has a distinctive personality coupled with anchoring experience for half a decade.
She’s already anchored programs on Samaa TV previously. Her anchoring career started in December 2004. She has done her Masters in political science.
Paras Khurshid is hosting Samaa's flagship prime time program “News Beat” which will be aired every Monday - Thursday at 08.03pm - 09.00pm
Sanam Blaoch
Born in Karachi, Sanam Blaoch is one of the most recognizable faces on TV in Pakistan. She started her career in 2004. She is a powerhouse of talent and has a dazzling smile and happy-go-lucky personality.
Sanam Baloch will now add that extra spark and energy to mornings with the all new and fresh Subh Savery Samaa Ke Saath aired every Monday – Friday at 09:05am – 11:00am.
