Emergency orthopedic OT opens at Civil Hospital

KARACHI: Emergency orthopedic operation theatre in Civil Hospital, Karachi has been inaugurated by the Provincial Minister Health, Dr Sagheer Ahmed.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony, the provincial minister said that with the ever-increasing population of the city's need, the trauma centers have also increased. He further said that the Sindh government and private sector will have to join hands to increase the number of trauma centers in Karachi.

Dr Sagheer said that the only two orthopedic units are working in Civil Hospital for the last 40 years. He said that the third unit will be established soon.

On the occasion, Dr Mohamamd Ali Shah said that Haq Parast leadership will continue its struggle for the development of Karachi. SAMAA
