Upadated on: 08 Feb 10 04:22 PM
Staff Report

KARACHI: The management of SAMAA TV has decided to bear the educational and living expenses of Ameena, honoring her for showing courage as an eye-witness of the incident.

The eye-witness of the second blast that had occurred outside the OPD of Jinnah Post Graduate Centre (JPMC) is a 10 year old girl, Ameena, who had arrived at JPMC with her brothers for paying a visit to her maternal cousin.

Ameena showed remarkable courage at the event, which is truly commendable. Instead of crying after the blast, she began searching for her brothers and sisters.

Meanwhile, the SAMAA reporter, Faryal Arif, talked to her about the blast and Ameena provided a detailed account, which was later confirmed by the police officials. SAMAA
